I’m guessing that, with this being a photojournalism blog thing, I should probably post a photo or three. I’ll try and post some real content, talk about photographers I adore and generally be entertaining in the following few days, but for now, you’ll have to suffer through my own crap.
The past week in Novi Sad has been interesting - All the public services (garbage collection, public transportation, stuff like that) got their pays cut by 10%, leading to strikes and protests and garbage piling up in the streets. I’ve been tasked with taking photos of these protests, but they’ve died off somewhat since the temperatures plummeted to -10C and encased the sidewalks in ice. The photo here is from the first day of protests, while everyone was still full of energy and enthusiasm, screaming their lungs out in front of the town hall.
